Bio

     My name is Mark Stephens and I am from San Antonio Texas.  I have lived all over Texas and most of my work was created here.  I have a degree from The Art Institute of Pittsburg in Media Arts and Animation. 

 

    I mainly use watercolor, pen and ink, acrylic, and adobe Illustrator to create most of my current work.  I do alot of automatic drawings that unfold as I work on them.  I also explore themes related to mystical reality as well as various emotional states.  My current focus is the interrelation between cultures, ideas, and spiritual traditions.
